Hi, I’m Lucas. I’ve spent the last two decades proving that great design isn’t just about making things look cool... it’s about building visual systems that actually work. Whether I’m designing a poster or navigating the technical nuances of a complex can print run, I approach every project with the same blend of veteran strategy and artistic obsession.

I’m a Duluth-based designer with a deep love for the tactile, pulling constant inspiration from the raw beauty of the North Shore. I work for Bent Paddle Brewing Company in the Lincoln Park Craft District, designing and managing all graphic elements for the brand and its products. I speak fluent printer, I’m a stickler for alignment, and I believe a brand’s identity should be as high-quality as the product itself. From marketing assets and packaging to custom illustration and social strategy, I’ve spent 20+ years turning "what if" into "here it is."

When I'm not pushing pixels, I’m usually leaning into my analog enthusiast side. You’ll likely find me relaxing with my wife and a complex board game, chasing the perfect line at the Quarry Park disc golf course, running D&D campaigns with coworkers, or tinkering with my vintage mopeds. There’s something about 1970s engineering that just makes sense to a designer.

I believe that the best creative work comes from a life well lived, preferably with a good view of the Big Lake, and a curiosity that never shuts off. Whether you need a brand built from the ground up or a technical production problem solved, I’m always ready to roll for initiative.
